Multiple Workspaces


After a lot of requests LogicalDOC offers to its users base a new feature called Multiple Workspaces.

To understand Workspaces, think of your documents archive as a set of different areas. In each workspace you can put objects such as folders and documents.

Instead of having a single huge folders tree, you can organize your documents in more smaller workspaces, each one with its own security policies.






Integrated LDAP Browser

Administrators can visually explore their LDAP or Active Directory repositories.

Once discovered the structure of the users repository, it will be easy to configure LogicalDOC connection parameters.

As a complement there is also a very useful search tool that allows you to select single users to be imported.


Data Retention Policies


This feature allows administrators and publishers to define document retention policies. A default system wide time to live can be configured and in addition for each record it is possible to define a specific time range to indicate when the document is available.
